Found a rate that looks stale, a formula that does not match your lender's quote, or just have a question? Send a message and Chris reads it directly.

Most useful messages we get are about a figure that looks off. If that is why you are writing, include the calculator you used, the inputs you entered (amount, rate, term), the payment or total the tool showed, and the number you expected instead. With those four things Chris can usually re-run the math the same day and either fix the page or explain where the difference comes from, which is most often a fee the calculator excludes or a compounding assumption a lender states differently.
The averages quoted across this site come from the sources listed on the 2026 rates dataset page, each with an observation date. If a newer Freddie Mac survey or Fed G.19 release has superseded a figure we quote, point us at the release and we will update the dataset page and every calculator that references it. Corrections are dated on the page itself rather than silently edited.
